DNR is a heuristic network reconfigurator for an electric power distribution network. It learns about this aspect of system operation by observing operators' control actions. It determines and maintains a knowledge base which it subsequently uses to generate recommended control sequences to reduce losses in the network. DNR's input comprises relevant sequence-of-control data from a SCADA, and the static topology of the distribution network.
